So, as life goes and things do whatever they do, some things change. Some of those changes are good, and some are bad. In this case, the change is excellent. I, Kadyelle, have joined the team of one to create a team of two, bringing you the real shit in cyber-interwebbing blog form. Coming up very soon is my interview with the lovely young Blunt from Aftershock (formerly known as Dyvers), typing words about their new release LP "So This Is Vandalism?". Hot on the heels of that interview is a little piece I've written about the horrendously awesome Optamus album launch at the Rosemount Hotel this past Saturday. So keep an eye to the screen and an ear to the scene, and if you encounter anything I should know about, if you want an album review, an event piece or review, get at me. Recently, like nearly 3 weeks ago, I kicked off my little WA album launch tour, headlining a show "Like Minded Artists" at the Velvet Lounge. Supporting me was Arms in Motion, DJ Silence, Delirious, Soma, Thorts and Cartoon Hell. Now, for those of you who don't know what's up, this show was put on by two of the most respected hip hop collectives in the state, The Community & Flow Lab. Diger Rokwell looked after the event and it served as a warm and intimate prelude to kicking off the Optamus album launch tour, which started for us (myself and Thorts) last Saturday night at the Rosemount. In case you haven't heard, my album is called "Earthworthy" and is out now, and available to purchase from me, and at our shows. Thorts has also recently released a free to download EP "Louder ACTIONS are NEEDED". All info on both of these releases are available down the page.
So, welcome to me (thanks!), hope to be entertaining you with some writtens for some time to come. Don't forget to get at me if you need some words. PEAS!
-Kadyelle.
